ID sponsors a fundraiser for Matt Turner

Individual Differences Inc., in conjunction with Four Seasons Sports Complex, will be hosting a fundraiser on September 12, 2009. Proceeds of the fundraiser will be going to the family of Matt Turner for medical expences and equipment. This past Father's Day weekend Matt had a diving accident resulting in a spinal cord injury. Matt recently turned 26 years old and is a graduate of Southeast High School.



The fundraiser details are still in the works. A kickball tournament, volleyball tournament, and bags tournament are all being planned. A chili cook-off will also take place. Anyone interested in volunteering can complete the online form on our website or e-mail me at info@individualdifferencesinc.org . More to come in August newsletter. If you'd like to enter a team in one of the tournaments or cook up your favorite chili and hopes of winning a prize, a flyer will be available with registration details on our site.

Individual Differences Launches New Web site!

Individual Differences, Inc. announces the launch of our new Web site, www.individualdifferencesinc.org. It is a great representation of who we are and what we do. Be sure to check it out!

Individual Differences works in partnership with the Illinois Department of Human Services’ Division of Rehabilitation Services (DRS) to provide persons with disabilities with the supports they need to achieve maximum employment, education and living opportunities.

We offer:

• Information & advocacy services
• Financial assistance for purchase of equipment or home/workplace accommodations
• School district consultation, focusing primarily on accommodations needed to meet the needs of students with disabilities
• Physical therapy workout space and/or equipment usage

Assistance can only be provided to a limited number of people at one time and only to those who qualify. While there is no charge for services, those who receive support are asked to “pay-it-forward” with a donation of their time or a financial gift that will help someone else through Individual Differences.
